The animal rights organization waited for three trucks with turkeys at the slaughterhouse last night to film the animals before they died. According to Animal Rights, the beaks of the animals are still routinely burned away because otherwise they would peck at each other out of sheer boredom.
With the images, the activists want to convince people not to put turkey on the Christmas menu. At Volys Star they slaughter around 16,000 turkeys every week.
