For the murder of 49-year-old former soldier Marcel Hoogerbrugge in Hoogeveen in December 2017, a prison sentence of 17.5 years has been demanded for 51-year-old Hala E.
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) is convinced that the man was deliberately and secretly drugged with medication by E. and then violently killed by her.
Marcel Hoogerbrugge was found lifeless in his bedroom by his parents on December 20. The man’s skull was smashed. He had probably been dead for two days.
