M. (Mark) Pol MSc has been appointed mayor of the municipality of Texel. The appointment takes effect on December 20, 2023.

Mr Pol (37 years old) is a member of the VVD. He is currently a senior advisor at Lysias Advies.
Rob van der Zwaag (CDA) is currently acting mayor of Texel.
