Thanks to a last-minute goal, Arsenal FC have temporarily extended their lead in the Premier League.
The English national soccer player Declan Rice secured the 4:3 (2:1) win at Luton Town on Tuesday evening (December 5th, 2023) with a goal in the seventh minute of added time.
This means the Gunners are now five points ahead of Liverpool FC and coach Jürgen Klopp, who can shorten the gap again on Wednesday.
Havertz is successful
Gabriel Martinelli (20th minute), Gabriel Jesus (45th) and the German international Kai Havertz (60th) had previously scored for the guests. Gabriel Osho (25th), Elijah Adebayo (49th) and Ross Barkley (57th) scored the goals for Luton.
Wolverhampton Wanderers also defeated Burnley FC 1-0.
