In view of Real Madrid’s efforts to sign Alphonso Davies, FC Bayern wants to poach from Los Blancos in return, according to a media report.
As the online newspaper “El Nacional” reports, midfield strategist Federico Valverde is the object of desire for the German record champions.
There is talk of a revenge plan by the Munich team, with Real arousing the anger of those responsible by luring Davies. At Säbener Strasse they are prepared to go “to extremes” to sign Valverde, the report says.
That is probably necessary, because the market value of the 25-year-old Uruguayan is estimated at around 100 million euros. It was only in mid-November that Real extended Valverde’s contract until 2029 (!).
An exit clause of one billion euros is anchored in the new working paper.
This is not the first time Federico Valverde has been discussed at FC Bayern
Davies’ transfer to Real could make Valverde’s move to Munich possible.
The Spaniards would probably have to shell out between 50 and 70 million euros to secure the services of the 23-year-old Canadian next summer – money that FC Bayern will immediately reinvest in Valverde?
The veracity of the report must at least be called into question.
At Real, the professional, who was signed by his home club CA Penarol for five million euros in 2016, is one of the top performers and is now also one of the top stars. Valverde already has 224 competitive games (19 goals, 18 assists) for Madrid in his CV.
However, it is not the first time that he has been traded by FC Bayern. At the end of 2021, Spanish media reported that Munich was interested.
Valverde speculation surrounding the Munich team also surfaced last summer.
