Real, with Antonio Rüdiger and Toni Kroos in the starting eleven, won against FC Granada 2-0 on Saturday evening (December 2nd, 2023). Brahim Díaz (26th), assisted by Kroos, scored the opening goal for the Madrilenians. Rodrygo (57th) increased the score to 2-0 after the substitution.
Girona wins after catching up against Valencia
FC Girona remains level with the leaders from Madrid. The surprise team in the Spanish league won against FC Valencia 2-1 and, like Real, has 38 points. The Uruguayan Cristhian Stuani (83./88.) was the match winner for Girona with a late brace. Hugo Duro (57th) gave Valencia a 1-0 lead.
Barca against Atletico in the pursuit duel
On Sunday evening there will be a duel between FC Barcelona and Atletico, who both have 31 points in their account before matchday 15. However, Atletico have so far played one game less than their league competitors.
