The most famous zebra crossing in the world
The main theme of the collection is monochrome prints – and the band’s 1969 album Abbey Road, whose world-famous cover shows the Fab Four walking across the zebra crossing.
On its website, the sports brand explains:“ Our first officially licensed MEYBA x The Beatles collection draws inspiration from the epic back catalog of music, films and images from the world’s biggest band.“ They write about the combination of design and album cover:“ The focus of this first collection is a monochrome, deep dive into the album cover of ‘Abbey Road‘, which was produced and released in 1969. The Beatles’ famous zebra crossing and classic ‘Long T’ logos serve in different ways throughout the collection as inspiration.”
The unique winter collection will include jackets, socks and jerseys. On the official website of The “MEYBA” collection can now be pre-ordered.
