After a 1-0 (0-0) win against Spain, the German juniors are in the semi-finals of the U17 World Cup in Indonesia. The highlights of the game can be seen for free on FIFA+ (Advertisement).
In the first half, the Spaniards dominated the game and repeatedly got in front of the German goal. DFB defender Eric da Silva Moreira fended off a dangerous shot from Marc Guiu in the 21st minute. Although Furia Roja put national coach Christian Wück’s team under pressure, they went into the break with a goalless draw.

A similar picture emerged in the second half until BVB attacker Paris Brunner won a penalty, which he converted himself in the 64th minute – his 17th goal in the 23rd U17 international match. The German talents confidently defended the result until the final whistle and still have the chance to win another title this year after their European Championship triumph in the summer. Because of an emergency brake, Spain goalkeeper Raúl Jiménez was thrown off the pitch in the last minute of stoppage time.
Germany will play in the semi-finals against Argentina, who clearly won the second duel against Brazil 3-0 (1-0) on Friday. Top talent Claudio Echeverri (28th/58th/71st) almost alone led the Albiceleste into the next round with a hat-trick. All games in the Junior World Championship will be broadcast free of charge Live stream on FIFA+ transmitted (Click here for the U17 World Cup on FIFA+). The final will take place on December 2nd at Manahan Stadium in Surakarta.
