Europa League participants FC Stade Rennes and coach Bruno Génésio are going their separate ways after two and a half years. As the Ligue 1 club announced on Sunday, the 57-year-old is stepping down from office for personal reasons and in agreement with the club.
Génésio’s successor has already been determined and is his predecessor Julien Stéphan, whom he replaced in March 2021. The 43-year-old was most recently on the sidelines at league rivals RC Strasbourg Alsace from May 2021 to January 2023.
