Esapekka Lappi will continue in the Hyundai team next season as well. However, he only drives part of the World Cup rallies, not the whole season.
Lapland tells about it on Instagram.
– Boom! I am really happy and grateful to be able to tell you that I will continue to cooperate with Hyundai in the 2024 season as well, he writes.
– I feel comfortable in this team. We have developed a fantastic relationship over the past year and have shown that we have what it takes to succeed.
Lappi says that he is still motivated to improve, and we hope that he will put more effort into the future. In the last season, he has driven to four podium places, but also suspended as many races. There have been too many crashes.
– I still have the drive to develop and succeed in rallying. I want to win with this team. Next year’s part-time coach will be a different and exciting challenge that motivates me to be a team player in addition to personal goals, says Lappi.
