Albert Verlinde accused Humberto Tan more than a month ago of misconduct† In his time at RTL Late Night, Humberto is said to have sent messages to women who had sat at the table with him. “It seems like I’m here producing more of a dating show than a talk show,” angry employees are said to have said.

Mega quarrel

Gallant as he is, Humberto gave Albert the chance to correct his mistake, but Albert simply didn’t answer the phone. Well, he could have done better. Humberto subsequently decided to report defamation and slander. That same evening Albert cowardly backed away and only after more than a week he went deep into the dust.

Humberto’s lawyer, Robert Geerlings, said: “We see no reason to advise Mr Tan to withdraw the declaration for defamation/defamation in response to the most recent statements by Mr Albert Verlinde.”

How are things now?

What about the mega quarrel between Albert and Humberto? The presenter gave a Skype interview to RTL Boulevard yesterday and said that nothing has changed about the situation.

Humberto kept it to twelve words: “Nope. Status quo. If there is news, I will report myself.”

Bridget supports Humberto

This means that Humberto has still not withdrawn his declaration. Bridget Maasland thinks that is very good, she said earlier. She thinks that Albert’s apology really came too late.

“I think that’s very good, because it’s also a bit of mustard after a meal. Why would you withdraw it now?”
