They completed their “So Much For (Tour) Dust” tour at the Max-Schmeling-Halle. We were there.
On Wednesday, November 8th, Fall Out Boy completed their “So Much For (Tour) Dust” tour in Berlin’s Max-Schmeling-Halle. Photographer Erik Lorenz was there and captured the show highlights with his camera and also told us his impressions of the gig:
“The last of four Germany concerts delivered another fiery finale. The four emo-pop punkers from Chicago not only relied on well-known hits, but also on a lot of eye-catching show elements. Already in the first songs the flamethrowers and pyro elements were lit and finally even Pete Wentz’s bass breathed fire tirelessly.
Further highlights: The constantly changing stage settings, including a huge moving Doberman head, which also graced the cover of SO MUCH (FOR) STARDUST, which was published in the spring. And Pete Wentz, who repeatedly entertained the audience with announcements, didn’t allow himself to be taken through the crowd so that he could then play on a mini stage in the FOH Tower, clearly visible to those watching further back. On top of that there were Ozzy Osbourne covers, piano use and tireless hits. The show actually never got boring at any point.”
