In September, Bruce Springsteen was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer, as a result of which several of his and the E Street Band’s concerts had to be postponed until 2024. The singer has been undergoing treatment ever since. The band’s guitarist, Steven Van Zandt, now explains that Springsteen is doing much better.
Opposite “PEOPLEVan Zandt says that the boss is on the mend and that the band is already preparing to return to the stages next year: “We will come back stronger than ever in March,” says the guitarist. The E Street Band will resume its partially postponed tour in the spring: “It was a very, very intense first six months of touring – perhaps our most intense ever. And so we will come back with the same intensity and it will be great”.
New concert dates for Bruce Springsteen live 2024
Springsteen was already ill in August, but until then it was undiagnosed. After his diagnosis, all concerts planned for September and October had to be postponed, whereupon the singer explained that he and the band would reschedule the gigs between March and September 2024. At the beginning of October he announced the catch-up concerts on his Instagram page:
The next tour announcement was made at the end of October. In the gap between the already announced shows in the USA, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are coming to Europe and also playing a concert in Germany, more precisely in Hanover. Tickets for the event will be available from Wednesday (November 8th).
