After Bundesliga debut
FC Bayern has given talent Aleksandar Pavlovic a professional contract. As the Munich team announced on Wednesday, the 19-year-old defensive midfielder’s working paper runs until 2027. Pavlovic made his professional debut last weekend in the 8-0 win against Darmstadt 98 when he came on as a substitute for Jamal Musiala in the 77th minute.
“We are very happy for Aleksandar Pavlovic, who celebrated two premieres in just a few days: first his Bundesliga debut, now his first professional contract. As a true Munich native, he made it into the FC Bayern first team – our fans dream of stories like this becoming reality, and we at the club feel the same way. His path should also be a role model for our talents: You can make it to the top via the campus,” explained CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen about the youngster, who has been active for the German record champions since he was seven.
Pavlovic, who received his starting market value of 200,000 euros in August, added: “I grew up at FC Bayern and am very happy to have signed my first professional contract here. I’ve dreamed of this since I was little. Many thanks to everyone who supported me at the FC Bayern Campus. I want to learn more in every training session and will continue to work hard on myself.” In addition to his first appearance in the Bundesliga, the Munich native also has two games for the Bayern reserves in the Bavarian Regional League this season.
