Before the Fenerbahçe – Hatayspor match, which will be played at Ülker Stadium in the 9th week of the Trendyol Super League, the yellow-dark blue team made a big gesture to its rival Hatayspor. The yellow-dark blue team hung a banner saying “Welcome home, Hatayspor” in the entrance section of the teams. In addition, the phrases “Welcome Home Volkan Demirel”, “Fenerbahçe is with the people of Hatay” and “Hatay is our personal matter” were displayed on the billboards at Ülker Stadium.
