A woman crashed her car into an empty farm in Bergeijk yesterday afternoon. The building has just been renovated and additional work will now be required. The accident happened around half past five at Eykereind.
According to the fire brigade, the driver had a blackout. Then she suddenly ended up on the wrong side of the road, according to people driving behind her. She then drove into the building through the garden of the house. The woman was able to leave the car independently and was checked in an ambulance. The accident happened near the fire station. The road was closed after the accident and the wreckage had to be removed.
