The police are currently searching at the Veemkade in Amsterdam East for possible traces and objects of 29-year-old missing Sam. According to the police, the Amsterdam resident may have been last seen here.
The police have deployed the National Underwater Search Team (LTOZ). Officers in a boat use specialist equipment in the search.
Sam was hit during the night of Saturday, October 14 to Sunday, October 15 missing. He left around 3:30 am from the ferries behind Central Station to his home in Oost.
Friends have put up posters in various places in the city and are also searching themselves.
