The injured hospital of club world champion FC Chelsea with team manager Thomas Tuchel before the League Cup final on Sunday (5:30 p.m. CET/DAZN) against Jürgen Klopp Club FC Liverpool is clearing.
The Blues coach welcomed a trio back to training during Friday’s training session in Reece James, Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech, both of whom suffered injuries against OSC Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday.
“This is brilliant news,” said Tuchel at the press conference, “everyone took part in training from the first to the last minute. I hope everyone will be available on Sunday.”
Reece hadn’t played since December, though. Still, he could be used in the encounter.
“He made a great impression,” emphasized Tuchel, “let’s wait and see if I’m crazy enough to use him again, or if the sensible side of me gets the upper hand and we wait a little longer .”
