Fan statement from Manchester United regarding the Galatasaray match!

Approximately two thousand yellow-red fans watched the match in which Manchester United, one of the English Premier League teams, lost 3-2 to Galatasaray at the Old Trafford Stadium in the second week of the UEFA Champions League, from the home stands.

Making a statement about the issue to Manchester United’s official fan forum, Sam Kelleher, the club’s fan services manager, confirmed the allegations that approximately two thousand yellow-red fans followed the match from the United stands.

The club’s operations director, Collette Roche, stated that although the Galatasaray fan was noticed among the Manchester United stands, no action was taken because “his forcible removal poses a security risk” and that no violence occurred in the stands during the match.

In the news in the British press, it was claimed that some of the fans with Manchester United tickets sold their tickets to Galatasaray spectators before the match, and the British club was criticized for not being able to prevent this situation.
