The European gas price shot up by about 10 percent on Tuesday. The flare-up is the result of a leak in the undersea gas pipeline between Finland and Estonia. According to Finland, this is “the result of outside activity”. It shows – once again – the vulnerability of critical energy infrastructure in Europe.
