The Danish fashion label Ganni is present in Tokyo. On September 29, the brand opened a temporary store in the popular Shibuya shopping district. With its first pop-up store in Japan, the clothing retailer is underlining its global expansion efforts, Ganni announced on Tuesday.
The premiere in Japan is an “incredible moment” for the brand, said Ditte Reffstrup, the creative director and co-founder of Ganni, in a statement. The label already has “a large and loyal community” in the country. The opening of the pop-up also marks an important step for the company on the way to becoming a “truly global brand”.
Ganni currently has more than 40 stores in Europe, the USA and Asia. In addition, the label is available internationally at over 600 renowned retailers and supplies customers in 35 countries through its own online store.
