In addition to Serhou Guirassy, only Robert Lewandowski (35) managed ten goals after five games in Bundesliga history in 2020/21 in an FC Bayern jersey; the VfB striker also leads the top scorer ranking in the top five leagues. It is therefore hardly surprising that the rumor mill picks up speed again shortly after the transfer closes.
In Italy, Guirassy has recently been linked to Juventus Turin and AC Milan. According to the “Bild” newspaper The 27-year-old, who is bound until 2026, has also anchored an exit clause in his contract for next summer. Accordingly, Guirassy can leave Stuttgart for around 20 million euros.

Already in the past transfer phase, in which the VfB striker was signed by Stade Rennes for 9 million euros, Guirassy is said to have had a corresponding contract clause, the sum was put at 15 million to 20 million euros. Traded interested parties such as Nottingham Forest or Ajax Amsterdam did not make use of this before the deadline expired.
Coach Sebastian Hoeneß was recently happy about the goalscorer staying, but believes Guirassy can make the jump to a top club in the future. The 41-year-old tried to show the striker “that with another really good Bundesliga season, possibly 20 goals plus, he can really show what he is capable of,” explained the VfB coach. “And then of course it could be that there are completely, completely different categories of clubs.”
