The situation in Ukraine

On the night of February 23-24, Russian forces invaded Ukraine. This happened after President Putin announced a “special military operation” in the Donbas. Explosions and missile strikes in the capital Kyiv are reported in several cities in eastern and southern Ukraine. There are also reports of a landing operation from the sea.
