Now that the dark autumn and winter months are approaching, Flemish Minister of Mobility and Public Works Lydia Peeters (Open VLD) is calling on local authorities to switch on their street lighting again. “Being sufficiently visible is essential for all traffic participants and certainly for active road users,” she said in a press release on Thursday.
