Crystal Palace loses without a coach

English Premier League club Crystal Palace had to do without coach Roy Hodgson in their 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa.

According to the club, the 76-year-old coach did not travel to Birmingham due to “an illness”. The former England national football coach was represented by his assistant Paddy McCarthy.

After a long 1-0 lead thanks to goals from Jhon Durán (87th minute), Douglas Luiz (90th + 8th) and Leon Bailey (90th + 11th), his club lost 3-1.
