Rumors of a spectacular return continue

Jadon Sancho and Manchester United: This relationship hasn’t really harmonized so far. There has long been speculation about an early departure for the winger. Will the ex-BVB star possibly end up back in Germany?

According to the “90min” portal, Sancho would like to return to the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund should monitor the 23-year-old’s situation closely. As a result, BVB could possibly plan a return campaign in January.

The British tabloid “The Sun” recently reported that the German runner-up is planning a loan request from Manchester United for the coming winter transfer period.

Sancho is currently in a clinch with head coach Erik ten Hag at the Red Devils. Most recently, the left winger was no longer in the Premier League club’s matchday squad. Sancho then publicly defended himself on the short message service X.

In addition, Manchester United has excluded the 23-time England international from training until further notice. “Jadon Sancho will continue to complete a personal training program away from the first team until a disciplinary matter is resolved,” the club said in a brief statement on Thursday evening. The fronts between Sancho and ten Hag seem to have hardened further.

A change could be a solution to the problem. How big the alleged interest from Dortmund really is remains to be seen.

Successful time at BVB

Sancho played for BVB between 2017 and 2021 and celebrated his breakthrough in professional football in the black and yellow jersey. The offensive man then moved on to Manchester United for around 85 million euros. However, Sancho has not yet been able to meet the great expectations.

It is currently completely uncertain whether the right-footed player still has a sporting future at Old Trafford.
