Is there stress in Rotterdam now that they don’t have a striker for the Champions League next week? The Netherlands is a graveyard for football coaches. The third coach this season has already been fired. Louis van Gaal to Germany? It is featured in the new AD Voetbalpodcast. Etienne Verhoeff discusses the news with Mikos Gouka.

“The withdrawal of Ayase Ueda in an international match against Japan is a huge disappointment for Feyenoord,” Gouka says in the podcast. “He should play Heerenveen and the Champions League against Celtic. You have to beat the latter at home if you want anything in the Champions League, but you don’t have any strikers available.”

In Breda they start the search for a new trainer. Peter Hyballa is already the third trainer this season to be fired in the Netherlands. “I don’t understand the dismissal. Hyballa was just Hyballa I think. You can’t continue with that now, but you already knew that when you appointed him? I understand that you bring him in to revive something that has fallen asleep, but then say goodbye to him after that season.”
