Juventus is deep in the red again

The Italian football record champions Juventus Turin continue to write deep red numbers. As the majority shareholder Exor announced on Wednesday, Juve made a loss of 81 million euros in the second half of the 2022/23 financial year. The loss for the entire year amounts to just over 110 million euros.

The former series champion only finished last season in seventh place after a point deduction. At the end of July, the European Football Union (UEFA) excluded the club from the Conference League for the coming season due to financial irregularities.

Former Juventus president Andrea Agnelli was also banned and fined in July because the club under his leadership was said to have falsified the books during the corona pandemic.
