VIVES starts the academic year with more than 16% more students

VIVES has campuses in Bruges, Kortrijk, Ostend, Roeselare and Torhout.

The Applied Criminology elective within the Social Security bachelor’s program has three times as many registrations. The international courses are also doing well, in particular the post-bachelor’s degree in International Management, the professional bachelor’s degree in Business Management and the professional bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management. “Thanks to our general subjects, we can also manage everything that happens behind the scenes of a restaurant – such as De Karmeliet. This is a real added value in the catering industry, in addition to just being able to stir cooking pots,” says Britt Van de Walle, student of the Culinary Arts course, a specialization of the Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, but also a young talented Belgian chef and selected Jeune Rôtisseur for Belgium 2023.

VIVES also sees an increasing number of registrations in its distance learning offering. And the biggest increase among graduates is the Vehicle Technology course, with an increase of no less than 65%.
