In the summer of 2011, Roberto Pereyra (31) came to Udinese Calcio in Italy from River Plate in Argentina. Four years later, the midfielder’s move to Juventus became one of the ten most expensive sales in the club’s history. After a stopover at Watford and his return to Udine in 2020, Pereyra left the Friulani again. Now another comeback is about to happen.
According to transfer reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Pereyra will soon return to the Bianconeri. The final contract details are still being processed. There will be more to come in addition to the exact 200 appearances that the Argentine made in competitive games for Udinese. Nobody in the current squad currently has a comparable value. The new working paper at “Le Zebrette” should only apply to the current season. Pereyra is currently one of the most valuable professionals without a club.
