Berlin in Lolla fever again
This weekend, the globally popular festival Lollapalooza celebrates its seventh edition on the grounds of the Olympic Stadium.
In addition to the five stages, fun areas like Fashionpalooza, Kidzapalooza and Lolla Fun Fair have something for everyone. Headliners include David Guetta, Imagine Dragons and Mumford & Sons. Jason Derulo and Macklemore are also there. Tickets cost 115 euros for one day and 199 for both, lollapaloozade.com
Dragon Boat Race
The 24th Berlin Dragonboat City Cup will take place on the Olympic regatta course in Grünau this weekend. More than 70 teams from all over Germany compete in the dragon boat race, which originally comes from China. The program is just as colorful as the scorpionfish!

To visit the Federal President
A garden party with the Federal President? Today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Frank-Walter Steinmeier opens the gates of Bellevue Palace and turns the park into a stage for voluntary initiatives and organizations. Theater performances, discussions and tours of the castle are also offered. Entry is free, tickets can be booked at buergerfest-bundespraesident.de
Mallorca hits the middle
A cool party that feels intimate but to which everyone is still invited is taking place today from 5 p.m. at the INNSiDE by Meliá Hotel (Chausseestraße 33, Mitte). Knights are on the loose at Diedersdorf Castle
Does anyone miss Game of Thrones? Then off to Diedersdorf Castle! At the big knights’ festival on the weekend, the Middle Ages become the present in front of an authentic backdrop. Acrobats and jugglers provide the entertainment, wine and hearty tavern food for the happy people. Young knights can prove themselves at ax throwing or archery. When where?
