Former Bundesliga professional Abdelhamid Sabiri is spending the current season in the Saudi Pro League. As Al-Fayha FC reported on Deadline Day, the 26-year-old attacking midfielder is joining the Saudi Arabian club on a season-long loan from Fiorentina. The loan fee is reportedly 100,000 euros, and the eighth-placed team also secured a purchase option worth 3 million euros.
Sabiri’s contract with Fiorentina, for which he has not played a single competitive game since his move from Genoa in January 2023, among other things due to a direct loan back to Sampdoria, is dated until 2026.
