National Team Coach Stefan Kuntz made a statement before the Armenia match to be played in EURO 2024 Qualifiers Group D.
HERE ARE KUNTZ’S WORDS:
I have a request from Turkey, do not immediately criticize the players who joined the National Team. Don’t see them as A National Team players. There will be adaptation periods and they will experience this.
Our communication with U21 is very good. We are constantly discussing the players. Kazımcan Karataş and Bartuğ Elmaz are also good examples. If you improve yourself and play in U21, you can be promoted to the A Team. Our priority is U21. I am working to ensure that such players adapt to the National Team.
“WE CAN PLAY WITH A DIFFERENT SYSTEM”
We are missing left back and forward. Arda Güler is also injured. It could be a different match. We can play with a different game system. Still, I’m sure we’ll have a good match.
Türkiye and Armenia are on the winning side in the group. We follow all the matches. They are making progress with their new mentor Oleksandr Petrakov. Two of their players are playing in Germany.
