Geuzenloop Zoetermeer
Are you a runner? Then you will probably enjoy participating in the Geuzenloop. There are different distances you can cover: 0.5 miles (departure at 11:40 am), 1 mile (departure at 11:20 am), 5 kilometers (departure at 12:50 pm), 10 kilometers (departure at 12:40 pm) or 21.1 kilometers (departure at 12:30). Whichever course you choose, all participants start at the Pilatusdam and end about 200 meters further in the Dorpsstraat. The two shortest routes go through the old center. With the three longer ones you walk through both the old and the new part, the former Floriade grounds and the Balijbos.
Can’t wait to get your running shoes out of the closet? Then register for the Geuzenloop Zoetermeer before September 20 this website. The registration fees differ per course: 6.50 euros for 0.5 or 1 mile; 12.50 euros for 5 kilometers; 16.50 euros for 10 kilometers; 21 euros for 21.1 kilometers. If you register after August 27, you will pay 3.50 to 5 euros more. So it is useful to be there early!
