Ex-aldermen take people to court “who spread lies”
Demeyere resigned as alderman last week and wrote in an open letter that many lies have been told recently. He came into disrepute due to possible conflicts of interest in real estate transactions. As a result, he had been inactive as an alderman since May.
The public prosecutor’s office is also conducting an investigation.
