Harry Kane can “take FC Bayern to another level”

FC Bayern recently put more than 100 million euros on the table to bring Harry Kane to Munich after weeks of negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur. Nils Petersen thinks it’s a sensible investment.

Four scorer points in three Bundesliga appearances – record newcomer Harry Kane has proven his world class at FC Bayern in a very short time and finally made Robert Lewandowski forget.

Nils Petersen, who once spent a season chasing goals for the German industry leader, is also enthusiastic about the 30-year-old and his skills.

“Harry Kane not only brings experience, quota and class, but also enormous charisma,” enthused the ex-professional, who ended his active career in the summer, in an interview with the “Abendzeitung”.

Kane could “raise the game of the many gifted individualists in Munich to another level,” explained Petersen: “That is also necessary, because recently Bayern lacked the usual naturalness and dominance.”

Petersen: FC Bayern wanted to send this message

According to Petersen, the fact that the record champion digged so deep into Kane’s pocket is also due to the great signal effect of the mega deal.

“FC Bayern wants to attack Europe again, that’s the message behind the top transfer of the English national team captain,” explained the best joker in Bundesliga history.

Kane has signed at Säbener Strasse until June 30, 2027. The experienced goalgetter is said to collect around 25 million euros a year, which would make him the top earner in the team ahead of captain Manuel Neuer (21) and Thomas Müller (20.5).

Before his adventure in Germany, Kane was the face of Tottenham Hotspur. 280 goals and 64 assists in 435 competitive games for the north Londoners speak for themselves.
