Fulham sign Alex Iwobi from Everton and Fodé Ballo-Touré from AC Milan

Late deadline day transfers

Shortly before the end of the transfer, Fulham FC has strengthened twice. Alex Iwobi comes from Premier League rivals FC Everton for the offensive. The 27-year-old has signed a contract until 2028 and is said to cost around 25.7 million euros – the west Londoners’ most expensive signing this summer and the second most expensive in the club’s history.

“He’s an exciting and versatile player who we’ve admired for some time,” said Fulham boss Tony Khan of the Nigeria international, who added two goals and nine assists in 41 games for Everton last season.

Fulham’s defense also strengthens Fodé Ballo-Touré, who has also long been associated with Werder Bremen. The 26-year-old comes on a season-long loan from AC Milan, where he is under contract until 2025.

“He’s a talented left-back with a lot of experience and his arrival will add depth to the squad,” said Khan of the Senegalese international, who made 14 appearances (one goal) for Milan last season.
