Alessio Vannetti is the new Chief Brand Officer at Gucci

Vannetti will take up his new role on September 4 and will report directly to Gucci CEO Jean-François Palus, the Italian fashion house announced on Thursday. He succeeds Susan Chokachi, who left Gucci after 25 years with the company. In addition to her previous position, she was responsible for the “Americas” region as Gucci CEO.

Her successor was already active for the fashion house belonging to the luxury goods group Kering. From 2015 to 2019 he was Communications Director at Gucci. He is now returning from fashion house Valentino, where he has served as Chief Brand Officer for the past three years. He has also served as Head of Strategic Projects and Senior Press Office Manager at Prada and as Communication Director at Zegna.

In his new role, Vannetti will lead the brand and client engagement team, overseeing the company’s strategic brand and image alignment, marketing, communications, metaverse and customer engagement efforts.
