Amine Adli has caught the attention of Brighton & Hove Albion. The French broadcasterRMC Sports” reports that the Premier League club has approached Bayer Leverkusen with a view to a commitment. Brighton also contacted the 23-year-old attacker’s advisor and explored the possibility of a move to England being a possibility.
Accordingly, a transfer to Brighton is interesting for Adli, but it is questionable whether Bayer would also let the player go after the sale of Moussa Diaby (24; Aston Villa). Adli was mostly seeded under coach Xabi Alonso in the last Bundesliga season and contributed five goals and five assists in 26 league games. This caused a jump in market value from 12 million to 20 million euros, which is surpassed by seven professionals in the team.
Because of a red card on matchday 34, Adli has to sit out the first three Bundesliga games of the new season. At least in the cup at FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen (0:8) the Frenchman was allowed to play for 90 minutes and was involved in three goals. Alonso relied on Adli as a left wing against the regional league, but he has so far avoided this position in the league. Instead, Florian Wirtz (20) and Jonas Hofmann (31) took the roles behind striker Victor Boniface (22).

Bayer also signed Nathan Tella (24) from FC Southampton during Adli’s absence, increasing the number of attackers in the squad to eight. Like Adli, Tella can act on the right and left wing and behind the striker. Brighton is not the first prospect for Adli, in the TM rumor mill he has also been traded at FC Bayern, Arsenal, Newcastle and Milan in recent months. His contract in Leverkusen runs until 2026.
