Arjen Lubach is very surprised and upset that the team of his program De Avondshow with Arjen Lubach is excluded from the Televizier election. “Never again!”
The people in the country are not interested at all, but the celebrities pretend that it is even more important than the American presidential election: the battle for the Golden Televizier Ring. André Hazes jr. even hires entire battalions of temporary workers to recruit votes. It gets so out of hand that Özcan Akyol doesn’t even want that prize anymore.
Arjen pissed
Arjen Lubach doesn’t even stand a chance at all, he says in one story on Instagram. “People ask why The Evening Show with Arjen Lubach is not allowed to participate in the Televizier-Ring. That’s because Zondag with Lubach has already won once. And the organization believes that the Evening Show is the same program. 🤷♂️”
It’s a nonsense rule, says Arjen. “It basically means that we (I) will never have a chance to win that prize again with programs in which I joke about the news.”
Inimitable
We also hear Arjen’s complaint from the men of Today Inside. They won the Televizier-Ring with the football talk show Voetbal International, but they don’t stand a chance with their current talk show either.
Strangely enough, De Oranjezomer, the summer VI replacement with Hélène Hendriks, does have a chance. “I find that inimitable,” said Özcan Akyol of the week in VI. “It looks pretty much the same and then it is allowed to participate. I don’t quite get that. She can win from me, but I don’t understand that.
Johan Derksen: “Hey, let them keep the Ring. It doesn’t interest me a bit.”

Anyway: Arjen will also have to settle for exclusion by Televizier. “Just one more week to wait and then we’ll be back with the program that will never win! Love it!” he concludes.
