Seven people arrested on the last day of the Dutch Grand Prix

Seven people were arrested in Zandvoort on Sunday on the last day of the Grand Prix. The arrests were made for stealing bicycles or scooters and disturbing public order.

According to the police, all arrests were outside the circuit area. Two people were arrested in Zandvoort on Friday, five on Saturday. The police spokesperson says that the race weekend went smoothly, with about 300,000 visitors in total.

Winding down

The circuit itself will be closed for at least two weeks before the event is finished. Visitors can visit again on Monday 11 September. The circuit was already closed in mid-July for the build-up of the Grand Prix. Max Verstappen won the race yesterday for the third year in a row.
