Trabzonspor made a statement about the referee’s decisions after the Galatasaray match.
Here is the statement made by Trabzonspor;
“We are waiting with great attention to the decision to be made about those who stole our Trabzonspor’s points.”
After the Galatasaray-Trabzonspor match played last night and where we were hosted with exemplary hospitality by the home team, we had to make this statement for two important reasons.
1. The referees, especially the VAR referees, had the audacity to determine the score of the match. This is an unacceptable habit and should never be repeated anymore.
2. The President of Galatasaray, Dursun Özbek, has made it a strategy since last season to keep the referees and the federation under pressure, regardless of the circumstances, and continues to put mortgages in the future matches in the role of victims, despite the points he received under pressure.
Although our President, Mr. Ertuğrul Doğan, sincerely and underlined Mr. Mehmet Büyükekşi during his visit to Riva last week, once again to the Turkish Football Federation and the Central Arbitration Committee about the risks that await them and which should have already been taken since last season. We take it as our duty to repeat it again, and remind you that the level of justice reflected on the field in the first weeks is far from the promises they made.
Although we know that the points we lost will not come back and our player with a broken rib cannot be paid, we are waiting with great care for the decision to be made about those who stole our Trabzonspor’s points by ignoring the clear and obvious in dozens of camera recordings in the VAR room.
