The preparation has only started a few weeks, but AZ now knows who it will play the first official match of the season against. In the third preliminary round of the Conference League, a double meeting with FK Sutjeska (Montenegro) or FC Santa Coloma (Andorra) awaits.
The two clubs will first play against each other in the second preliminary round of the Conference League. The winner goes one round and meets AZ.
The matches will be played on Thursday 10 and Thursday 17 August. Coach Pascal Jansen’s team will play the first match and the return will be played in Alkmaar.
