André Hazes jr. reacted very strangely to a joke by presenter Frank Dane during a radio interview. “You no longer have to check in at Van der Valk for an hour!”
They have finally found the shape: André Hazes jr. and Monique Westenberg, notorious for their flashing light engagement. Well, blinking light… Those two just went through the entire Morse alphabet for years. Then Mo again, then Bridget again, then Mo again, then Sarasoel again, then Sarasoel 2.0, then Mo again without another chick in between. Can’t keep up.
Andrew is happy
André and Monique have now finally found a way to put up with each other: he now lives with Monique and their son for two and a half days, and the rest of the week he is in his own house. It is really an exclusive and monogamous relationship, the folk singer said earlier on Radio 538.
It’s fun, says the singer now during a relationship update on the same 538. “Wonderful. I’m in my garden now. I’m serious: it’s really delicious. Listen, I’m fine, I’ve done my laundry, I’m taking care of myself. I’ve only slept here a few nights, but I’m really happy.”
Do not talk
Is it getting used to living on your own? “I had to get used to it in a positive sense. Waking up in the morning, making your cup of coffee and just not having to talk. I like that very much.”
Ah, apparently Monique is a kind of chicken that only stops when you sit on the toilet with your iPhone. And how is it cooking? “I haven’t cooked yet. You can order wok in our village and rice is my favorite food anyway, so I’ve already ordered wok for three days, man.”
Cheating on me
Then host Frank Dane, bosom media friend of André, suddenly makes a very strange comment. As if he knows something about André that the general public doesn’t know. “And you no longer have to check in at Van der Valk for an hour.”
André then, as fast as light: “No, that’s nice too, yes.”
Frank laughs: “Yes, but you have to have a place. However?”
Then André realizes that this is not such a useful conversation on the national radio: “Yes… I ehh… What do I need a spot for then?”
Van der Valk
The Van der Valk hotel chain has a certain name when it comes to quick dates, and in particular the Witte Bergen branch, the moaning center of the Gooi mattress. It is so busy there that they are currently even expanding the place.
Apparently André is also a regular customer. Or not? Frank: “I’m teasing your friend.”
Andre: “Yes…”
Frank notices that André is suddenly very careful: “I really hear you struggling because of the conversation.”
André: “Yes, I think: where is it all going now?”
Short bits
André is on the line because he has already released another single. 538 is only allowed to run a short part of that. Sidekick Jelte van der Goot: “We’re used to that, haven’t we, since De Amsterdamse Zomer of course. We do short pieces.”
Andre: “Hahaha. You turn the end away. Hahaha.”
The concert De Amsterdamse Zomer, organized by Bas Smit, was recently under fire because they have a planner there who can’t watch a clock. As a result, André was cut off in the middle of his last song.
Frank at the end of the radio interview: “You were a little wary.”
André: “I don’t know what to say, guys. Everything will be used against me!”
