Oosterstaketsel operators are not taking any further steps against the city

The stage and various tents for the recording of the VRT program ‘Zomerhit!’ on the Vuurtorenplein make the picket fence and the brasserie less easily accessible. The owners of the brasserie therefore went to court. It has now been agreed that the VRT will provide clear professional signage. The operators are therefore not taking any further steps for the time being, but they maintain that the fire brigade has insufficient space to reach the picket fence with a large vehicle. According to the mayor and the fire department, that will work. They meet again on Monday afternoon.
