Since the release of the singles “Absurd” and “Hard Skool” in 2021, Guns N’ Roses fans have been expecting to finally hear new music from the hard rock band. There is no official information about a new album yet. Nevertheless, hints of new music have been appearing on the band’s internet and social media in recent days.
On June 5th, the unreleased song “Perhaps” was played during the sound check. There is also a picture posted to Instagram on June 22nd by Axl Rose and guitarist Slash from Urban Sound Studios in Oslo. The caption confirms that Guns N’ Roses listened to “new mixes” at the venue.
Then, during the concert in Weert, Netherlands, on July 11, a video surfaced on the band’s Instagram story of someone flipping through pages marked with song titles. As users found on Reddit, alongside well-known titles such as “Mr. Brownstone”, “Civil War” and “Don’t Cry” also see the name “Perhaps”. Another title could be “The General”, which fans think to have seen him on the setlist a month ago.
Slash has been talking about plans to release more revised songs from the “Chinese Democracy” sessions since 2022. However, an official announcement of new music is still a long way off.
