Tottenham getting weak? Record champions in Kane poker optimistic

Will Harry Kane join Bayern? This transfer question is currently floating above everything on Säbener Straße. Tottenham Hotspur is showing its tough times so far. However, this fact does not lead to resignation in Munich.

According to “kicker”, FC Bayern “continues to be cautiously optimistic” about Kane’s poker game.

The 29-year-old is said to have already sent alternating signals in the direction of the Bundesliga club. At the end of the day, Munich still has to agree on a deal with Tottenham Hotspur.

According to consistent media reports, FC Bayern was rebuffed with its first offer of 70 million euros plus bonus payments. As the “Daily Mail” recently reported, the German record champions now want to increase their first offer by around ten million to a total of 80 million euros. This sum could ultimately increase through clauses, it is said.

According to “Sky”, the improved offer is already on the table at Tottenham. “Bild” and “Sport Bild” contradict the TV station.

FC Bayern: Will Tottenham ultimately weaken with Kane?

Ultimately, FC Bayern could benefit from Kane’s contract in North London. The center forward only has one working paper until 2024.

As the “kicker” writes, Tottenham CEO Daniel Levy “as a businessman would rather take the lavish transfer proceeds of around one hundred million euros than lose Kane on a free transfer in a year”. FC Bayern still has to be patient to free the English national team captain from the Premier League.

Should Kane really move to Munich, he would advance to the club’s record transfer. In 2019, FC Bayern transferred around 80 million euros to Atlético Madrid for Lucas Hernández. The centre-back has since officially moved on to Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
