At around 5:15 a.m. on Saturday morning, the driver of a transport company rammed a taxi and its driver at the intersection of Gitschiner Straße and Prinzenstraße.
After the violent crash, the taxi landed on its side on a barrier.

The driver of the taxi was injured and treated at the scene by paramedics and an ambulance. The driver of the Toyota was also treated at the scene. He is said to have been slightly injured.
The intersection was closed for more than an hour due to the salvage work and the recording of the accident. The police are now investigating the cause of the accident, which is likely to be due to a right-of-way error.
