L‘passionate love story between Seyit and Sura, the protagonists of the Turkish series The girl and the officer, continues between ups and downs. Not because they don’t love each other enough, but forced to overcome one obstacle after another. The fifth episode – airing tonight at 21.35 on Channel 5 – offers new twists.

Episodes 13, 14 and 15 are being broadcast this week. In the first, Sura (Farah Zeynep Abdullah) feels the need to write a heartfelt letter to her sister Valentina (Seda Güven). He confesses that he misses her and that he wishes she were there with him. Also, he says he has a very good relationship with Seyit’s parents. Not true, but lie so as not to displease her.
The truth is that his arrival in Crimea didn’t go as he hoped and the only thing he thinks about is fleeing from there with his partner. Meanwhile Seyit returns to his parents hoping to find a meeting point. Try to talk to the father, Mehmet (Serdar Gökhan) but they are on two different locations e each of them is too proud to backtrack.
So the argument transcends and they end up arguing again. The only solution is to leave. As, Seyit announces to his family that he has decided to leave and will do so together with the woman he is in love with.

Episode number 14 opens with clashes with the rebels. At the crack of dawn raid the Eminof mansion. Their goal is to kill Mehmet. Mahmut (Opal Özer) immediately warns his brother Seyit and Cecil Kamilof (Ushan Çakir). The two intervene, but they can’t do much. A bloody battle ensues, at the end of which Seyit’s parents die.

While in, Sura and Tatya Tchouplkina (Eva Dedova) find refuge in a mill and the latter has an illness. Sura tries to help her, also thanks to the collaboration of the diligent Ismail and Seher. They desperately look for a doctor, but the race stops en route because Tatya dies.
The tragedies don’t end there, because Petro Borinsky (Birkan Sokullu) continues to pursue his evil plan, which is to kill Misa (Berg Erçer), which is finally right in Alusta, Crimea. However, Petro’s mask begins to fall off. To find out is Osman (Baris Alpaykut), Seyit’s brother. Borinsky doesn’t have the slightest doubt: the only alternative is to put him offside. As she shoots him, but blames Misa.

Seyit, blinded by rage and deceived by his brotherly friend Petro, kills Misa. Then he tries to bring him to safety on the same boat Sura got on, but Osman fights between life and death.

For the girl and the officer, the adventure continues once they arrive at the hotel. The facility has become the headquarters of the British and they are being driven out. So they go to the consulate, hoping to find the name of Sura’s relatives among the people who disembarked from the ship arrived from Russia. Here they get to know Yahya (Tolga Savaci) and his family members. They tell their story, especially the latest events, namely the extermination of Seyit’s family.
On the ship Petro discovers that Cecil, drunk, is looking for a way to raise the money needed to pay off his gambling debts. Worried, he explains that he must do everything to stay sane, at least until they reach England and can finally be said to be safe.
