Eetu Selänne starts the army today – a great source of pride for Sirpa Selänte

A hockey legend Teemu Selänten the family has a big moment ahead – their son Eetu Selänne leaves Monday July 3rd for the army. Eetu’s mother Shirpa Back confirms the information to Iltalehti.

– Eetu got engaged and was preparing for a master’s degree in business administration. It is a great source of pride, of course: he is the first master’s degree in our family, which is of course nice. Now he will go to the garrison in Kainuu and start his military service there on Monday, Selänne lists his son’s recent events for Iltalehte.

Selänne published pictures in his Instagram stories of a father cutting his son’s hair short for the army. No other posts about Eetu’s departure to the army have been published so far.

Second, in addition to the achievements of her eldest son, Sirpa reveals what their other children For Eemil, For Lee and Veera belongs.

– Leevi is still in Boston, he has two years of university left. Our oldest son Eemil works in our restaurant, Sirpa begins.

– Veera goes along and trains hard – she has a great passion for tennis. It’s good! I always thought that it’s good to have such a hobby when you’re young. I hope he is on the right track when he can invest in sports, Selänne adds.

At the end of May, the Selänte family rejoiced at Eetu’s engagement Abbey’s with. Eetu and Abbey have known each other since sixth grade, but turned their friendship into a relationship in 2020.
